Thanks to art, I have met many interesting people - most of whom have become nameless over time—but they all had a perceptive soul and an open heart. I have also discovered many enchanting places, both in my beautiful homeland and beyond its borders.
I have the luxury of dedicating myself to something that fulfills and uplifts me, helps, cultivates, enriches, and satisfies me.
I have only been seriously engaged in abstract art for the past few years. I find it amazing to have the freedom to experiment with colors, lines, and various techniques within the realm of acrylic painting.
My journey into ex-libris (bookplates) was the result of pure chance - an extraordinary coincidence that is unlikely to happen again. It was an interesting experience for me. I created them in an A5 format, while the actual bookplates were only 3 × 5.5 cm. I regret not having documented all of them, but I am preparing to create more.
The "Flowers" series was developed over the years as a response to bouquets given to me by both friends and strangers, who wished to express their gratitude or simply bring me joy. I sought to capture not only their fragility, fleeting beauty, gentle elegance, grandeur, or simplicity but also the emotions I felt when receiving them and later painting them with dry pastels. And with humility, I must admit that the magic of real flowers is absolutely unique, unrepeatable, and unmatched.
Today, my paintings are part of private collections in many European countries and on two other continents.
May they bring you joy and a sense of inner happiness as well.
